PSYCHOTHERAPIST & COGNITIVE REHABILITATION PROVIDER 

 

The Chicago Center for Cognitive Wellness (CCCW) is a thriving group therapy practice.  We treat a variety of adults and adolescents struggling with mood, anxiety and cognitive disorders.  We have a particular focus on providing the “what’s next” to people affected by cognitive decline, serving as preferred providers for top academic medical centers including an internationally recognized Alzheimer’s disease center as well as a variety of neuropsychology, physician and mental health clinics across the region.  We support our clients holistically in the outpatient setting as they work toward goals of improved thinking and wellbeing. We are committed to providing only the highest quality, evidence-based interventions, putting the emerging principles of positive neuropsychology into practice. 

 

CCCW remains on 100% telehealth status for the duration of the pandemic as long as telehealth coverage remains in place.  In normal times CCCW provides serene office space at both Edgewater and Loop locations. 

 

We are a seeking bright, compassionate provider to offer psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and brain health coaching to a variety of patients with mood and anxiety disorders with a specialized focus on treating some patients with neuro-cognitive disorders (MCI, early dementia, TBI, concussion, stroke, neurosurgical, etc). 

 

Required Skills:

  • Full time availability

  • Active Illinois License (clinical psychologist or LCSW)

 

Desired Skills:

  • Enthusiastic, innovative, warm and good-humored

  • Connects easily with patients and families

  • Comfortably delivers individual and group therapy

  • Able to learn quickly and comfortably 

  • Educates patients and families about dementia and other brain functions and care  

 

Preferred Skills

  • Specialized training and experience in dementia care, neuropsychology, neuroscience, cognitive rehabilitation and/or health psychology

  • Experience or training in trauma, biofeedback, mindfulness, CBT, and/or DBT

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

 

The Chicago Center for Cognitive Wellness (CCCW) is a pioneering neuropsychology practice dedicated to providing the “what’s next” to people affected by cognitive decline.  We support our clients holistically in the outpatient setting as they work toward goals of improved thinking and wellbeing. We are committed to providing only the highest quality, evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions, putting the emerging principles of positive neuropsychology into practice. 

 

We are seeking a licensed neuropsychologist to deliver assessment and treatment (cognitive rehabilitation and psychotherapy interventions) services.  

 

Required Skills:

  • Full time availability

  • Active Illinois License in Clinical Psychology

  • ABPP-CN Board Eligibility with pediatric experience

 

Desired Skills:

  • Enthusiastic, innovative, warm and good-humored

  • Connects easily with patients and families

  • Able to learn quickly and comfortably 

  • Educates patients and families about brain function, emotional and cognitive skills  

 

Preferred Skills

  • Pediatric and lifespan assessment preferred

  • Specialized training and experience in cognitive rehabilitation and/or health psychology

  • Experience or training in trauma, biofeedback, mindfulness, CBT, and/or DBT
