Meet The CCW Team

Clinical Intern
Allison Doner
she/her
My role as a therapist is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their patterns, focus on what matters most to them, and find strength within themselves. I believe that awareness, self-compassion, and learning from our experiences can open new possibilities for emotional healing and personal growth. By discovering and understanding the mental, emotional, and physical parts of ourselves, we can develop a deeper sense of grounding and warmth to support our lives. I am passionate about self-awareness practices and curiosity as tools to help people better understand what’s happening inside and feel more connected to themselves and others. I draw from psychodynamic theory, DBT, CBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and somatic practices. I see clients as co-collaborators and experts on themselves, their goals, and needs. Together, we create a plan tailored for you. I am currently a social work student at the University of Chicago specializing in mental health and social care. I have supported clients across the lifespan and bring a background in education, mental health outreach, yoga, and mindfulness practices. I would be honored to support you on your journey in finding strength, clarity, and peace. Allison works under the supervision of Eleanor Mulshine, LCSW, at our downtown Chicago office.
