
Sabrina Kraft, LCSW
Sabrina is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who provides psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation virtually and in-person at the downtown Chicago office. Sabrina has extensive professional experience at a leading acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital, working with individuals recovering from traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, stroke, and other illnesses and injuries resulting in cognitive impairment, and their loved ones. Sabrina’s professional experiences also include working with students with learning challenges, professionals and high-performing athletes, and individuals with substance use disorders.
Sabrina is a relational therapist who hopes to build a positive and trusting therapeutic relationship in which clients can work towards meaningful adjustment to disability, acceptance, optimized functional status, and improved distress and frustration tolerance. She takes a person-in-environment approach to best understand a client's thoughts and feelings towards life stressors. She believes in utilizing her clinical knowledge in combination with collaboration with her clients to form a unique blend of therapy modalities that works most effectively for the individual. Sabrina’s other areas of interest include complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders, pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
In Sabrina's free time, she enjoys running, lifting weights, spending time with her cats, traveling, watching films, and reading.
