
Tarik Qazzaz, LCSW
With over 20 years of experience and a lifelong interest in psychology, Tarik has learned the importance of a holistic approach to therapy accounting for emotional, aspirational, economic, relational, and physical health needs. He enjoys helping clients develop awareness of the personal narratives they've developed over their lives and helps them discover and plan new directions. In his work with older adults, he emphasizes identifying and prioritizing valued areas of living while navigating change. Tarik make use of his attentiveness, creativity and curiosity to gain an appreciation for a person's experiences and the meanings they've drawn from them, thoughtfully offering new perspectives. He helps adults through a variety of modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing. Tarik provides individual therapy and cognitive rehabilitation virtually and in person at the downtown Chicago office.
